A veteran photographer with more than 30 years experience in the field, Michael Hnatov specializes in architectural and interior photography for architects, interior designers, builders, and artists. But his expertise stretches farther to include event and product photography, and portraits. With a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) in photography from St. John’s University, Michael also trained in architectural photography at the School of Visual Arts. While he believes that training to be invaluable, he places equal value on decades of experience in the field. Michael brings other skills to the table, using his photographic skills and digital dexterity to communicate a client’s needs.
Michael Hnatov finds client relationships to be an investment. Aside from a genuine, inherent affection for people, he also feels relationships are key to success in virtually any field. His client list of long-term, repeat clients demonstrates the effectiveness of this belief. From the Sept 11th Museum and Memorial, to Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates in New York City (the architectural firm responsible for restoring the Metropolitan Museum of Art) to the Drug Policy Alliance and Physicians for Human Rights, clients that hire Hnatov hire him again and again. |
